about julie

Julie’s education and love of dancing started at the tender age of 3, and includes experience, training and examinations (I.D.T. A. and N.C.D.T.A) in many styles ranging from tap, ballet, modern, latin, ballroom, disco and line.

Julie started dancing line 9 years ago, and most loves the unique diversity of the wide ranging dance styles and motions it allows you to experience. She finds her previous experience and training in numerous dance disciplines has given her a solid foundation as a teacher of line dance.

In addition to teaching adults social line dancing, both privately and previously for North Lincolnshire Council’s Adult Education Services she has also taught accomplished competitors at Novice, Intermediate and Advanced levels.

Julie herself has had a successful competitive career, competing on both national and international levels and has numerous European and WDM World titles.

Julie finds that her day job as a computer programmer and trainer has helped her to develop techniques for adapting to different learning styles when teaching, and believes it's equally important to build confidence as well as technique in students whilst being fun!

  • Julie holds multiple Championship titles and is an accomplished teacher
  • Julie has a wealth of knowledge in most types of dance and accreditations from I.D.T.A. and N.C.D.T.A.
