I currently run a variety of FitSteps dance fitness and line dance classes. Take a look at the classes page for full details here.

If you love to dance and want a great, fun workout set to fantastic music, then you’ll find yourself on a dance floor full of like minded people! FitSteps is for adults of all ages, the majority of my class being 45+. Class starts with a mobility warm up and a pulse raiser to ensure we get those joints and muscles ready for the main workout, during which you’ll dance all those dances you see the stars dance on Strictly, from a spicy salsa, powerful paso doble to an elegant waltz. And you don't need a partner! Routines are designed to be easy to follow and vary in speed and focus. In a FitSteps class you will work on raising your heart rate, improving your balance, posture and strength and mind to body connection. Some moves may be a little trickier than others, but you’ll soon be in the swing of it after a few classes, and whilst you’re learning, you’re exercising! Options covering low to high impact moves are given throughout class so you can workout at your own pace, and you DON'T need to go get fit to start. That's one of the benefits of the class so just show up as you are, you'll fit in! 🙂 Classes always finish with a cool down and a good stretch. You’ll leave feeling energised with a smile on your face! Take a look at what we get up to in the videos below... Teaching at Redbourn Club Me presenting For FitSteps at Newcastle

Line dancing is a very social form of dance, where people all dance the same repeating pre-choreographed dances, at the same time, in lines or rows. As it’s danced without a partner, it’s open to everyone and very easy to join in! To learn more, check out the blog post here.

1. Firstly, you'll need a set up website account that allows you book and manage your class places. Click the orange Sign Up button at the top of the home page to get going. 2. Complete and submit your Par-Q health registration form. 3. Once you've chosen your class, buy a class pass (the pass you need is dependent on the duration of the class, 30, 60 or 90 minutes) and then continue on after payment is confirmed and book your spot! 🙂 You're all set! Grab your trainers and I'll see you on the dance floor in class! (Steps 1&2 only have to be done the one time, once you're set up it's much easier the next time! 😊) You can find step by step video guides by clicking the How To Book button on the homepage if you need a little help.

All of my classes are for adults aged 18 and over.

All of my classes are strictly for adults ages 18 and over. For safety and other reasons, spectators, including children, are not permitted in any class. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause, but ensuring the safety, comfort and focus of my adult clients is my top priority. Thank you for understanding.

You can find the booking and cancellation policies here:

No partner work is involved in any of the classes, they are all solo based dance or dance fitness workouts.

I know the feeling, there's traffic, kids, and life in general so you're maybe running a little late! But for your own safety and well-being, full completion in all warm up activities is mandatory. Exercising without properly warming up puts you at an increased risk of injury so to avoid that late arrivals are not permitted entry and treated as late cancellations. I'd much rather you were merely disappointed at missing a class than be injured! 😊 Please note that some morning classes are scheduled outside of the venues opening times, hence the entrance door will be locked a few moments before the stated class start time. Doors open ten minutes prior to class starting, so be sure to arrive in time to avoid missing out on the fun and dancing!
